no back up plan, no second chance and no one else to blame

the title... how apt.

updates for last week:
1. monday was dance blast! audition... which i didn't get in. no surprise ha ha since i already know there are many great dancers and competition is stiff. but it still hurts. very badly.
2. dinner with clique after the audition at four fingers omg i super love the soy garlic chicken!!! but i think it's quite expensive, $10 for a fast food meal?! my money is flying away. :(
3. zouk with part of the clique on wednesday and it was a disastrous experience. i drank too fast on a near-empty stomach...... my head was throbbing and i felt so dizzy ugh only danced for 30-45mins then i went out to rest. -.- rolynn and i crashed in lanyu's room and i skipped my 10am lecture cuz i had a mild hangover. but i was conscious throughout the night, i rmbed everything that happened LOL. once bitten twice shy, i'll drink lesser, slower next time and make sure to eat dinner.
4. dinner with my ex-colleagues from cpf on thursday wheee had a great time just chatting about random topics. im glad we still remain in contact and meet up once in a while. :)

for this week:
1. kayz reunion to celebrate yuwen's advanced bday on monday. as usual, i had my fill of jokes/laughter hehe love my pretty (and lame) babes HAHA.
2. 1st isp meeting on tuesday and 80% of the people there were biz students who like, knew each other already omg felt kinda left out. luckily pranilla was there and i made a new friend (qian qi) who was from aj also. :)
3. d'hoppers dance crew audition with ying on wednesday... which i failed yet again. i guess im really not cut out for hiphop, or dance. sigh.
4. on thursday, i had lunch with rolynn at ikea (i love the food there too) and met beatrice to source for suppliers at queensway shopping centre cuz we are gna sell singlets and raise funds for isp.
5. i went back to balmoral plaza with rachel on saturday to visit george chong and also eat the super value meal at waffletown yumz. we then headed to scape and roamed around, bought clothes + went gaga over super cuteeeee disney tsum tsums and unicorn plushies. and of course, we updated each other about our life (with lots of ranting in between) hahaha thank you for being a constant in my life. :')
6. town with jingwei today! just walked around randomly and had tea break at twelve cupcakes/dulce & sucre. gna see him again tmr yay. :)

hmm for this week's updates (other than the usual going-to-school boring stuff):
1. i went for dance blast! open class with rolynn on wednesday and it was super awesome it feels so good to dance again. i really like hiphop although i don't dance well. patrick loo, the resident choreographer, told us that half of us prolly won't get in as there are many people auditioning but limited vacancies (demand >>> supply yup applying econs to daily life LOL). :(
2. i received a message that i got selected for uni-y isp (international service programme) trip to Vietnam this coming december holidays!!! mega happy. \^_^/ i went down for the interview last wednesday and they asked a lot of situational questions which i sucked at so i wasn't sure if i made the cut. anyway, there will be a briefing next tuesday but sadly i won't be able to go as i've tutorial during that period. :( o well but there will be weekly meetings (which we've not decided on the day - just not tues or wed please) so all's fine. :-)
3. rolynn and i happened to pass by central forum on 28th and there was a library books sale. i managed to get 3 books for $5 yay wanted to get more but i controlled cuz i just spent $10 on 2 books earlier this week. there were a lot of useful textbooks such as on financial accounting, marketing, statistics etc at the sale which i kinda regretted not buying but since i've not decided on which biz module to take... it's okay there is always next year. :> i shall list down the books i bought cuz im happy with my purchases HAHA.

beginning the next chapter of my life

hello everyone,

i've decided to start blogging again. :-) i want to continue using this url and in order to give a 'fresh & new' look, all posts before 2014 have been hidden.

previously, i faced a dilemma between nus fass & ntu/smu biz but ultimately, i chose nus fass, intending to major in economics. i then applied for hall (unsuccessful :( ) and korean lpp (accepted!). i also had the opportunities to participate in 2 camps - uni-y & arts o'week, both of which i had tons of fun, made new friends and never regretted joining.

so 2 weeks ago on 11th, university officially started. totally not used to waking up early and travelling 1.5h to school for lectures but i survived ahaha and im really glad to have nh/aj/camp friends to attend classes/spend breaks/hang out with. :')
then there was a student life fair on 14th and 15th where cca booths were set up and i indicated interest for quite a lot of ccas (lol fickle-minded me) but i narrowed down to a few. dance blast!/dance synergy, odac, uni-y, skating club. however, dance blast! is extremely difficult to get into so im 80% prepared to fail the auditions sigh... but will still try my best though.
arts bash was held on 23rd at zouk. went down to support ying who won miss xanna reis (whoohoo congrats dear!!!) and club with A2 friends. great night (except for the part where some girl stepped on my foot with her heels... freaking asdfghjkl painful there is a blood clot + bruise now.) and i think i have a high alcohol tolerance level *proud* HAHA.

ok tutorials start this week and midterms are coming up. i need to get my head into the game.
